Laevi was a Nomai who grew up on Brittle Hollow and Ember Twin. Their sibling was Lami and their aunt was Pye.[1][2]
Early life[]
Laevi played the Anglerfish game in the Sunless City with Taget, Ilex, Solanum, and Lami. They left instructions for kids who were too tall to fit through the Anglerfish Overlook hole to reach the Anglerfish fossil.[3] After Pye told them that real Anglerfish are blind, Laevi changed a rule and made the child who played the Anglerfish wear a blindfold.[4][5] However, after some protest from Lami, Ilex updated this rule so that younger children did not have to wear the blindfold.[6]
Statue Workshop[]
During the construction of the memory statues which were necessary for the Ash Twin Project, Laevi moved to the Statue Workshop on Giant's Deep along with Lami and Taget. When Phlox planned a test of the memory statues, he told them that they were not allowed to come and look.[7] Lami suggested sneaking in through the underground entrance, but Laevi argued against it, pointing out that this is a huge risk.[8]
Laevi passed away after Ghost Matter erupted from the Interloper's core which instantly killed all Nomai in the solar system.

- Laevi may be named after the crataegus laevigata, commonly known as the English hawthorn.
