Idaea was a male Nomai scientist; his sister was Privet. worked on the Sun Station and questioned the ethics of the Sun Station's purpose of triggering the Sun to go supernova while working with Pye. Pye often getting on their nerves with her jokes. The sun could not be forced to detonate and the Ash Twin Project was put on hiatus. Idaea disproved of the Sun Station's goal but did not want it to fail. Privet went to go visit him, concerned about his well being.
