Hyssop is a modern Nomai.

Their clan's ancestors are said to have searched for Escall's Vessel after its disappearance.^[1] Hyssop confirmed to the other living Nomai that Escall's story is true.^[2]

Trivia

Hyssop may have been named after the Hyssopus genus of plants, which are aromatic and have small blue flowers.
