Hyssop is a Nomai. Their clan's ancestors are said to have searched for Escall's Vessel after its disappearance.[1] Hyssop confirmed to the other living Nomai that Escall's story is true.[2]

- Hyssop's name most likely comes from the Hyssopus officinalis, a type of shrub.
